Concept Work

Designs always start out with loose sketches, many loose sketches. After getting a feel for the product I look for inspiration in things around me. Many thoughts are taken into consideration when designing playground equipment: durability, aesthetic, fun, and function are the obvious must-haves.  Ergonomics for a range of different sized children, safety, varying ability levels, expected risk of the child, and installation and maintenance of the product are just as important.
